3。宗旨：

1）      与各友族及各社团保持友好关系，朝向国民团结及富强的目标。

2）      提倡中华文化，同时以思想开化来吸取及融合其他民族的优良传统。

3）      推广华文华语。

4）      提倡和培养有独立思考的大专生，以及富有领导能力的国家栋梁。

5）      掌握资讯与电脑知识，迈向资讯工艺与资讯世纪。

6）      领导多媒体大学成为世界第一级大学。

4。团史：

            1。      1997年8月27日成立。

2。      正如其他大专学府，多媒体大学也有一群热爱华文的莘莘学子。当年，多媒体大学筹办活动的风气不似其他大学般浓厚，烦闷的日子让一群朋友在拉拢了不少支持者后，毅然地承担起筹办华文学会的使命。创办者当中更包括了不谙中文的朋友。虽然语言沟通上存有障碍，但潜在他们内心的毅力与目标，让他们成功冲破了彼此之间的藩篱，串起九条心。经过一番努力后，华文学会于1997年8月27日成立，并于同年8月29日召开了首次会员大会。无论是预科班、大一或大二的会员们都非常踊跃地参与当天的改选仪式。就这样，第一届的理事会名单终于出炉了。希望未来的日子里，大家能携手努力把华文学会办得有声有色，使它成为多媒体大学最活跃的学会，更进一步成为马来西亚数一数二的华文学会！

   3. Objectives
   a)      To have steady connections with other races and societies, in order to reach the aim of unity of the nation.
   b)      To publicize the Chinese culture, and at the same time accept and combine with the other well practiced culture of other races with an open mind.
   c)      To introduce the Chinese Language as well as the culture to the others.
   d)     To come out with University Scholars with independent thinking, and future leaders of the nation.
   e)      To have knowledge on the information technology and computer system,, in order to strive towards the era of information technology and information system.
   f)       To lead the Multimedia University to become a world class university.
   
   
   4. Historical Background
   a)      Established on 27 August 1997
   b)      Overview
   As in many university around Malaysia, the usage of the Chinese Language in MMU was unfortunately quite limited. For the love for the Chinese Language, a group of student decided to bear the responsibility of forming the Chinese Language Society. Despite the problems and obstacles that existed, their determination and perseverance brought to their unity.
